TRAVEL WITHOUT JET LAG

Jet lag, fatigue, sun exposure, digestion, dehydration... travel can be unsettling. How can you make the most of your vacation while avoiding these little inconveniences?

VOYAGER SANS JET LAG VOYAGER SANS JET LAG VOYAGER SANS JET LAG VOYAGER SANS JET LAG

Summer and holidays are the most anticipated times of the year — their prospect fills us with excitement, energy, and dreams.
How exhilarating is the moment of takeoff or train departure!

How to care for your skin during a flight?

The air on a plane is very dry. Two essential steps: protect the skin with an antioxidant treatment (like On the Wild Side oil) and deeply moisturize it with a moisturizing cream (like On the Wild Side moisturizing cream).

Ideally, apply a mask during the flight (for example, "sheet" masks that do not require rinsing).

Drink plenty of pure water (and minimize coffee and tea), avoid makeup, and especially alcohol, which dehydrates the skin.

How to avoid jet lag?

The best way to avoid jet lag is to fast during the flight (and drink plenty of water). This allows for better sleep during the flight and helps the body adapt to its new rhythm upon arrival.

Before takeoff, eat your usual meal, focusing on nutrient-dense foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts, good quality protein, healthy fats...).

During the flight, drink plenty of water and herbal teas (avoid tea and coffee), and do not eat any food (you're not missing anything — airplane trays are industrial and full of preservatives).

Upon arrival, adapt to local time by breaking your fast at local time.

This step seems radical (especially for those who snack non-stop on the plane!) but it allows you to enjoy your vacation as soon as you arrive (and not lose a few days adapting). Try it at least once.

During the first few nights in your host country, you can take plant-based melatonin, which helps with falling asleep and reduces the effects of jet lag.
Plant-based melatonin (and not the synthetic melatonin usually used in anti-jet-lag supplements) combined with rose helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and helps regain energy.

How to improve your skin during the holidays?

Thanks to an in + out routine! (And a hat & sunglasses)

For the "in" routine, Atelier Nubio has designed:
👉 We want... a sublime tan (https://www.ateliernubio.fr/singleproduct/on-veut-bronzage-sublime), a special formulation to allow you to expose yourself and tan while being protected from external aggressions.

For blemish-prone skin (linked to an unsuitable diet, as is often the case when traveling), slip in the:
👉 Duo Skin Detox (https://www.ateliernubio.fr/singleproduct/duo-skin-detox) into your suitcase, which will act on the liver and digestion to keep the skin healthy.

For the choice of sun protection, refer to Dr. Biousse's advice:

For the skincare routine, we opt for a minimalist and effective routine:

  • mist or hydrolat
  • treatment oil
  • moisturizing cream
  • a good sunscreen

As for makeup, this is the ideal season to wear NOTHING on your skin.

How to take care of your digestion?

This is often a sticking point during holidays!

Walk, drink plenty of pure water (consider activated charcoal to slip into your insulated water bottle) and focus on vegetables, fruits, and whole fibers (chia seeds are remarkably effective, found in our Digestion granola).

Avoid added sugar as much as possible (yes, ice cream should be avoided!) as it is constipating.

For the most anxious or for road trips to exotic countries, take a course of probiotics before and during your stay to strengthen your intestinal flora.
